Generation Y Facts

In a survey commissioned last year by the BBYO last year and released in January found that many youth are trying to forge religious connections.  Of 1,153 students 10 to 18 who were surveyed, 68% said religion and faith were important.  Among those students:

·        92 % said they want a better connection.
·        52% said they are looking for a less conventional way to connect with their religion.
·        43% said they are not sure now to connect with their religion.
·        40% said that it is difficult to connect with their religion.



GENERATION Y – Demographics

This generation includes those born between 1980 and 2000. (Business Week)
There are 70.4 million youths in the U.S. aged 5-22, composing approximately 26% of the whole U.S. population. (Polta)
